COME AND SEE THE INL. COME TO OPEN DAY 2023.

 

On September 30, INL will hold its third open-day event to celebrate science with inspiring activities for all ages. We invite the public to get in touch with science and enter our ‘Nanoworld’ free of charge.

We will explain how nanotechnology works in our research areas and translate this knowledge to all interested from different backgrounds, educations and ages. We aim to get closer to the community and show the benefits of nanotechnology to everyone interested in visiting us.

With these goals, INL will present to the visitors a set of planned activities to demonstrate concepts that are often distant from day-to-day reality.

Join us for scientific activities and exhibitions of the work already produced and developed by the INL team.

  • No. All the tickets for 2023 OPEN DAY are free of charge.

  • The tickets for the 2023 OPEN DAY are available here. Without the ticket, you will not be able to enter INL.

  • When you arrived at the principal entrance of INL, you have to show your ticket and personal ID to security. Please keep your ticket all day. After that, the security checks the information, and you will have to carry your ticket at all times while inside INL. For the check-out, you only need to show your ticket to security. Each participant can only enter INL once.

  • The 2023 OPEN DAY will open at 09h30 and will close at 18h30.

  • The activities will take place at INL in the following spots:

    1. Entrance (Check-in)

    2. Welcome reception: INL lobby

    3. Cleanroom corridor

    4. Open space lobby

    5. Entrance (Check-out)

  • Yes, there will be support areas, as follows:

    1. Water throughout the tour;

    2. Toilets throughout the tour.

    3. Food at Check-out;

    4. Resting areas throughout the tour (sofas and chairs).

Braga is one of Portugal’s most beautiful cities and the third-largest city in Portugal. Considered one of the youngest European cities it’s packed to the brim with history and culture, of which the most famous is Bom Jesus do Monte - a World Heritage site by UNESCO, perfect for those in search of an historical city.

It is located a just 40 minutes car ride from Porto International Airport and 60 minutes from Vigo's International Airport. 10 minutes from the main highway that serves Braga (A3) and close to the sea, only 25 minutes away (Esponsende).
